Just received this hand drawn map of Piedimonte Matese (formerly D'Alife) drawn by my great grandfather Salavatore "Sam" Civitillo in 1984 as he remembered it in the years prior to his departure for Ellis Island in 1907. My Uncle Rob visited the town in 1992 and reported that the map remains accurate. Below is a family tree constructed by Uncle Rob after that visit (click to enlarge).
